Merchant Onboarding
Watch the tutorial video for a step-by-step guide on how to onboard and set up Solana Pay for your Shopify store.
Add Solana Pay Payment Method
- Open your Shopify store settings, navigate to Payments, and click the “Add payment methods” button.
- Search for and select Solana Pay.
Configure Solana Pay Portal
To configure your Solana Pay Portal:
- In your Shopify store settings, navigate to Payments, and click the Manage link on the Solana Pay payment method.
- Under Account status, click the Manage button to access the Solana Pay merchant portal.
- Follow the steps outlined on the portal to activate Solana Pay. This includes verifying your business information and setting up a Solana wallet for receiving payments. Please note that the business verification process may take a couple of days.
- Review and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
View Payments
In the Solana Pay merchant portal, visit the Payments page to see all your transactions. Each payment is associated with a Shopify order and has a status that indicates its progress:
- Rejected: The payment was not made.
- Paid: The payment has been detected on the Solana blockchain by us.
- Completed: The payment has been paid and acknowledged by Shopify. This status update usually occurs within seconds of payment confirmation.
Handle Solana Pay refunds
To handle refunds, visit the Refunds page on the Solana Pay merchant portal. Follow the steps outlined in the refund processing guide to issue and manage refunds.
